Where is Nicole Wallace (MSNBC Deadline)?

7. I think they're grooming Claire to have her own show and cut Nicole back to one hour.

As much as I love Nicole -- I play a drinking game based on how many times she puts on her glasses -- I agree that Claire has a deep pool of experience to draw on. Several weeks back they gave her a practice run, and even though she told Nicole she was shocked how much work it involved to be host as opposed to guest, it was clear she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Watching her today it looks like she's totally comfortable being in the host's chair. She'd be a great addition to MS-NBC's already strong line-up.

Seems pretty unlikely they'd run it if she's canned.

6. Not to worry

They wouldn’t fire her after expanding her show to 2 hours. I’ve also heard she is very good to her staff which is always important to me. I’ve really grown to like her!!

I did notice Claire had been on a lot lately and wondered if she might cover for her when she was away. Voila, there you go!

Now I wonder if they might give Claire her own show…
