Contact Tracing for Covid

Has anyone here worked as a Covid contact tracer? How did you go about getting the job and what did you think of it?

I'm in need of a job atm, and with the Delta variant spreading a lot, I thought I'd look into contact tracing.

Here in MA. They are unfortunately (fortunately?) winding down as cases fall (were falling?), and expect the CTC to be closed up by the end of September.

Anything can change, but realize it will always be temporary work.

As for how she got it, she heard about it on the interwebs and applied. She actually gave up a much more lucrative job to work there, but she was burnt out and needed a change.

Check with county public health departments. They may have openings dealing with covid.
