Twin sisters were fatally shot in Brazil, and the gang-related double execution was live-streamed on Instagram.

The disturbing footage shows Amalia and Amanda Alves, 18, getting shot in the back of their heads.

The sisters were seen in the video kneeling next to each other and were reportedly forced to hold up their hair in buns before each was shot in the head.

Reports say the suspect fired two more shots into one of the girls, then stood over the other sister and shot her four more times.

Authorities haven’t provided a motive for the killings, but according to the newspaper, Jornal de Brasilia, the sisters were killed because they knew too much about incidents involving local drug dealers.

Police arrested Mateus Abreu, 17, later that day.

Brazilian newspaper Diario do Noreste reported the suspect had seven prior arrests in 2020 and 20201, including unlawful possession of a gun, theft, and intentional bodily injury.

Amalia Alves was the mother of a six-month-old son, reported the Daily Mail, while her sister, Amanda, leaves behind a three-year-old daughter.
