Whoa, this is a big deal...

The NFL just informed clubs that if a game cannot be rescheduled during the 18-week season in 2021 due to a COVID outbreak among unvaccinated players, the team with the outbreak will FORFEIT and be credited with a loss for playoff seeding, per sources.

Here’s more from today’s memo, which also says the team responsible for a canceled game because of an outbreak among unvaccinated players/staff will be responsible for financial losses and subject to potential discipline from the commissioner. Wow.

Why anyone, besides those who are medically unable, wouldn't vax up is beyond my understanding. I haven't had a single piece of metal cling to me, no rude calls from Bill Gates, no DNA changes, and only one physical condition (my penis grew 4 inches overnight), so why not get the damned vaccine?

They can line then up with the team doctor and have them do it right then and there. They can also have those cards verified.

My dumb ass governor announced yesterday our state is having a drawing for 900 vaccinated people to each win $10,000. To enter the drawing you had to input where and when you received the shot(s) along with the lot number on your card so it can be verified.

With playoffs on the line the NFL will get the cards verified.

Airlines should also impose these kinds of fines on passengers who refuse to comply. There are probably a raft of regulations governing what they can snd can’t do but this is a good model. And if regulations don’t permit it, then sue passengers who refuse to comply for the losses incurred.
