...but Joe is scaring the shit out of many of us. By not pushing to reform the Filibuster, he's endangering S1 and the John Lewis act. If those sink, American democracy is sunk.

for what other people are doing, we make it up by weaving together a bunch of suppositions. We are so smart we know what complete strangers are thinking, saying, and doing. Unless someone has an agenda for what they are creating, I guess they get a feel-good out of being critical of others. These days, I really don't give a shit about anything that isn't real. And what someone says someone else is doing, thinking, or saying, is not real.

Senate, not Joe Biden who determines the Senate rules

Why some think if Biden said a few choice words at Manchin, Sinema, etc. would make them change their position on the filibuster is beyond me.

A little while ago Manchin said there is no possibility that he would change his view on the filibuster, or weaken it.

Some may not recall when during the primaries for president, Manchin said he would not vote for Sanders if he became the Democratic nominee, and vote for trump

I am convinced No one will be able to change manchin’s view on the filibuster

It will be up to voters in 2022 to make him irrelevant

He also has Jedi mind powers to get Manchin, Sinema and others to change their position on the filibuster.
