BDS = Boebert Derangement Syndrome.
On the list of verbal diarrhea is tell the Karens to chill out. Interesting coming from one of the worst Karens in America.
She also said something about rewarding work, not staying at home. Apparently shes having trouble hiring people who will work for tipped minimum wage.
I have a better cure for BDS: vote this useless eater out of Congress next year if we dont expel her sooner.

(3,541 posts)She has a job to do.
Drop a dime on her fellow Congress critters that worked with Donald Trump to overthrow our government.
She has to know from her background, that the first person who sells our their friends and fellow criminals, will get the best deal.

Do you mean "reward hard work" the way the GOP typically does? Like by making working people shoulder the bulk of the tax burden while those who earn income through other means are allowed to use loopholes to get out of paying any significant percentage of their income in taxes? Reward work like that? You mean stop acting like the construction worker is the same as a hedge fund manager and they should pay the same rate?
Its this kind of shit that pisses me off - the fake "we're for working Americans" bullshit. 98% of every Republican politician, in TODAY'S GOP, is there for one purpose: To make a windfall of cash without actually having to do real work. As someone else pointed out, this woman makes six figures by not "working" and owns a business where they insist employees make less than minimum wage and work for "tips". But she's for "working" people...

(11,726 posts)We should definitely reward work. I say paying a living wage, where the workers can pay their necessities and have a little left over for leisure and savings would be a great reward for work.
That will definitely get people who are okay at home because the relief benefits from this deadly pandemic we are still in, pay better than what a bunch of cheapskate employers pay, back to work.
I am sure that is not what Boebert meant. I am sure that she wants workers to be forced back to work at the risk of starvation, as that seems to be the conservative MO at this point.
Just like when non congressional conservative idiot Candace Owens questioned why COVID-19 vaccinations are free but other life saving drugs like Insulin were expensive, as a way to point out some stupid nefarious plot, but actually called out the greedy nature of a for-profit health care industry.
They are not very bright.
