(58,785 posts)we have a lot of deer around here in GA. We don't water the "lawn," but the fawns that play on it while their mothers graze would love it. The trick would be knowing when they were coming through.
Whoa! You and Emily Stull just made me remember that our son once bought me some motion-activated sprinkler heads meant to scare them away. They worked then about as well as Emily's, but if I can find one that still works I'm going to set it out.

(2,012 posts)great moose in Colorado but the animals have suffered so much since the terrible fires and floods from the burn scars. If we can't control and manage the environment we will lose them and our wonderful planet.
