TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- New billboards posted near the Governor's mansion in Tallahassee are highlighting a relationship between Governor Ron DeSantis and Northwest Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz.

The two billboards read "BEST FRIENDS KEEP EACH OTHER'S SECRETS" and "MATT GAETZ SAYS DESANTIS IS THE 'BATMAN' TO HIS 'ROBIN'."

The "Batman" billboard posted Wednesday refers to a statement made by Congressman Gaetz at a rally in 2018.

The company behind the ads? Ron Be Gone, Inc. -- a political organization that, according to their website, is "solely dedicated to taking on Ron DeSantis."

"Floridians need to know that their governor owes his political career to a congressman who's caught up in a federal investigation," organization Advisor Brice Barnes told Channel 3 on Friday.
