Florida is leading the nation right now in Covid deaths and hospitalizations according to CNN.

One doctor interviewed mentioned that his patient wanted to get the Covid shot after she caught Covid and how he said it was too late. I don’t get it. People not believing in science. People not believing in doctors or think that the government is doing something to them that they don’t understand. It’s very sad. I don’t know when this is going to stop however I do know more deaths are coming. It’s depressing. It’s frustrating.

And breakthrough infections of the vaccinated are happening at a higher rate, although we don't really know those numbers either. Any of us could have caught it, felt ok or a little sick and never got tested. They will downplay the number of these, even as they report on Olympic and other athletes (NY Yankees recently) who are vaccinated and infected, but not seriously ill. That was one goal of the vaccine, although they'd hoped it would prevent infection. It probably did originally but the Delta variant changed that. And because of the unvaccinated, the virus will continue to spread and mutate!

I've still been wearing a mask at work and in stores since being vaccinated in April.
2 weeks ago I felt like I was fighting a cold or bad allergies. Lasted 2 days. Didn't get tested or think it might be covid, at first. If I didn't feel better quickly I might have gotten tested. Who knows? But it made me think. Most of us who are vaccinated wouldn't seek out a covid test unless we'd been exposed, and felt really ill.

The numbers reported and projected are not good, not accurate, and getting worse.
