(12,904 posts)What channels you are watching Olympic coverage?
I hear/see people talking about events I am not seeing. I am having a hard time getting my smart remote to show me which channels are broadcasting the events.
Thanks!

(32,620 posts)They own the Olympic Channel, so that 24 hours of Olympic events, and a lot of it is shown live and unedited. They also own NBC Sports channel where events aren't necessarily live, but shown at a delayed time so that more people can see it during the day. Then they have the regular NBC network channel where most events have been edited down to the important minutes, and that's all shown during prime time and on shows like The Today Show.
For those not on cable, you can probably stream some events online, but don't assume that you're watching in "real-time" because it's almost certainly NOT a live broadcast.
Foreign countries are also showing NBC feeds of the Olympic events to their local viewers. I'm sure that NBC is making it available worldwide (under contract).
