First of all, both Cheney and Kinzinger should be removed from the Committee, they will argue? Even then, the Republicons would have only six seats, as opposed to seven for the Democrats, they will say.
(Surely it will dawn on them that they will have no one on the Committee if they do not act soon?)
They would like to pick six of their own, McCarthy will argue . But, in the end, they will grudgingly accept the four open seats, and complain about the unfairness of it all. Nancy wants everything to fit her "narrative", they will say. (They will not say what Nancy's "narrative" is)
Can we expect this to happen in the next few days, maybe even today? Or will they permit the Committee to continue as it is now set up?
Won't Trump demand that McCarthy have someone on the Committee to defend him?

McCarthy and Trump will do what they do best, whine and cry and stomp their feet like terrible twos toddlers while the grownups get all that testimony written into the permanent Congressional Record, without any of the gaslighting and grandstanding that the Trumpistas wanted to shoehorn in.

I expect a couple of hearings shown on Faux and no other major news shows where they will show clips of peacefulness on 1/6, and claim that there wasn't much disruption and what was there was from Antifa and Nancys responsible. It will not move one needle. Hopefully McCarthy reconsiders, but it's a total asshole move so drumpf will push him hard to do this and to keep it up for a long time.

I decided it wasn't fruitful raising my blood pressure so so I could say I listen to both sides. It was totally not worth it, not one bit. I thought I might hear some good debate - but absolutely not.
