But is is fascinating how his "concern" also has some on our side with the same "concern", both, of course without reasons or rationale, but hey, we can always speculate as to why they are so concerned...I have a few ideas.

That said - Okay . . . lets say they do this . . .

I shouldn't have to pay as much in taxes. Like - drop my top tax rate down to 10% - and let the breeders figure it out - without my money.

Oh - was that mean?

Vance is not even correct in his assessment, then he follows it up with an anti-Semitic trope; how original. I am simply surprised he didn't manage to work in "Soros" somewhere.

American's are not allowed to engage in financial transactions with individuals, countries, institutions, etc. etc on watch lists such as BIS and OFAC. Like - I can't send a wire transfer to a bank that held money for Al-quaeda.

From where I sit - the Klan and its modern day descendants such as The Proud Boys, Boogaloos, 3 percenters - etc. etc.

We should treat them the same we do terrorist organizations from outside of the country.

teams up with an organization that regularly surveils social justice organizations and activists, supports militarizing cops, and advocates for repressive policies, I find it chilling.

and self interested -- to not allow themselves to be used for criminal activities. PayPal didn't just start, it's ramping up to better fight RW extremist activities.

In 2020, PayPal teamed up with criminologists and academics to research the payment systems used in the trafficking of illegal firearms and has partnerships with non-profit group Polaris to combat human trafficking through a joint Financial Intelligence Unit.

Over the past several years, PayPal has also been taking action against businesses peddling extremism that were attempting to use its platforms. ...

As part of the new initiative, PayPal and ADL will also work with other civil rights organizations, including the League of United Latin American Citizens.

"We have a unique opportunity to further understand how hate spreads and develop key insights that will inform the efforts of the financial industry, law enforcement, and our communities in mitigating extremist threats."

Glad I've never bought one of his books. Or watched the movie from which I'm sure he receives royalties. I magine that Ron Howard now regrets directing Hillbilly Elegy.
