After all, you subsidize what you want to encourage and tax what you want to discourage.

It's like Ted Fucking Cruz whining about the Cleveland Indians changing their name to the Guardians -- why does he care, and is it even any of his goddamned business as a politician working for the state of Texas???

These whiny snowflakes need to learn how to shut the hell up...

repukes always take the asshole position on every matter.

Clean water- against.
Clean air- against.
Kids not getting shot at school- against.

They are nothing but trolls, subsidized by corporations and foreign enemies of the USA.

I'd use the phrase "stay relevant" but pretty sure she never was in the first place.

Wonder if this is somehow related to Democratic senators introducing a bill that would offer Americans a refundable tax credit on the purchase of a new electric bicycle. The Electric Bicycle Incentive Kickstart for the Environment, or E-BIKE Act for short. It's the companion bill to one introduced earlier this year in the House Boebert dishonors.

E-bikes are more expensive but "can replace car trips for a lot of people, with a recent study finding that if 15 percent of car trips were made by e-bike, carbon emissions would drop by 12 percent. ... Much like the House bill, Schatz and Markey’s legislation would offer Americans a refundable tax credit worth 30 percent of a new e-bike’s purchase price, capped at $1,500. All three e-bike classes would be eligible for the tax credit, but bikes with motors more powerful than 750W would not. The credit would also be fully refundable, which would allow lower-income individuals to claim it."

Driving petroleum burners is heavily government subsidized in a whole variety of ways, and of course the DOI's 70,000 employees are eligible for driving expense reimbursements, but we won't hold our breath waiting for these dark side types to object to that.

and then shifted it to some other type of campaign reimbursement--so she still pocketed the money, it's just not all mileage fraud anymore.

Or was.

If you ride a bike to work at least three days a week.

Enacted under Obama.

I newer looked into it very much because I think it was one of hose things you need to itemize to take advantage of it.
