What about the rights of the vaccinated

We hear so little about that.

Well, I think I have the right to not be in a room with a person who could cause me illness.

I think I have the right to know the risks.

I think I have the right to know if when I go into a store or restaurant if anti vax/makers are inside.

I have the right to not have ignorant bozos breathing covid on me. It is my body after all. And they are putting a potentially deadly, dangerous disease into my body.

We need to flip this script.

I’m hopeful when the Phizer vaccine gets full FDA approval more places will require their employees to get the vaccine. If they lose their jobs they won’t have the money to go out.

I think also that may make Biden take the next step in mandates for all government workers, teachers, and essential workers. The private companies will do the rest.

From the 30s when it was vaccination protection against smallpox, to the 50s with vaccination against polio, to the 60s and 70s with vaccination against measles and mumps, besides protection for ourselves it was also to protect society. Now if we ask them to get a vaccination against COVID, even for their own good, for the refuseniks it's "shoving it down their throats." Even wearing a mask was an infringement on their rights by government. But if a company mandates it as an employment requirement, there might be some grumble, grumble and maybe a few might try lawsuits, although they'll lose, but I'm pretty sure the big majority of it will get vaccinated to keep their jobs.

I'm really disappointed that the airlines haven't instituted this for passengers. With the difficulty making passengers keep their masks on, individual airlines could have instituted vaccination requirements for passengers If you want to fly, get vaxed.

I am so sick of the delusional thinking now having more rights that anyone else. Their hallucinations have caused this country to fail at herd immunity but their rights are more important than the rest of us? I want to see them stand up in a court and prove their hallucinations are true - believe me the standard of proof is in a court is far stronger than RW media can even imagine.

That were before the drugs.

I read a book about it.

The cure was mostly rest.

You had to go.

TB was really bad at one time.

She wrote the Egg and I

Also Ma and Pa Kettle movies.

She went to a hospital in Seattle I think.

Anyway she got it from co-worker.

The book describe her treatment.

She had to go, the law.

So it isn't like new.

All her family had to be tested.

I myself have cared for several TB patients and never tested positive. Mom never contracted it either. It's so strange how some can be exposed repeatedly and over long periods of time and never develop the disease. Innate immunity has been studied. Quite interesting, imo. https://journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/CMR.15.2.294-309.2002

One of my cousins contacted TB from her husband who worked on a oil rig in the Gulf.

She was pregnant at the time.

She ànd baby made it.

There used to be a mobile TB Truck down town.

My first job I had to get a TB test and x-ray there.

I worked in a grocery store.

My summer job in high school.

Flipping the script assumes that the other side use logic and has a sense of shame.

Personally, when I go inside I assume that I will be surrounded by lots of unvaccinated people, so I mask up.
