Some of us are tired of "investigations" and endless "committees."

We are fatigued from the non-stop disrespect for our institutions and allegiances to foreign adversaries. You think it is gonna be like rain after a drought? Whooosh?

Will the end of the movie be worth having sat in this theater the whole effing time?

Whether it is worth it or not, the only options we have are to check out (mentally), leave, or die.

Justice is a lumbering oaf, especially for powerful people. As stupid as Trump is, he was a powerful person. He was elected president. Power does not like to punish power. It sets a bad precedent that the people who achieve ultimate power (like becoming president) are just like the rest of us.

I am not holding my breath on any cathartic event. I will continue to live, to fight where I can, and just try to leave the world a better place for my children.
