At the end of the President's presentation about the disability act, he invited "Nancy" and "Sten" to come to the stage. As Pelsoi was ready to climb, a Marine offered her his arm but she ignored it..

my parents taught me to open doors, lend a hand to not only females, but older people who might, or might not need or want it.

It was the right thing to do. I still do it, although it's getting tougher to find older people.
