1. I have read articles lately saying restraurant workers are quiting b/c of rude customers......

they yell at them, leave no tips etc etc.

Seems that every day now there is something in the news about wait staff and people working at fast-food places getting physically assaulted. It's happening in stores and on airplanes, too. I have been gobsmacked by the whole thing.

But also the Covid Lock down. A lot of the World has gone wackjob since the reopening. Lock people up for 12 months and then set them free and give them Alcohol. The result is NOT a pretty thing.

9. If you were hiring a new crew at say a tire shop, who would you hire, a kid fast food supervisor,

or a laid off mill worker? A buddy of mines son had to make that decision. Of the several guys sitting around drinking beer, it was unanimous. Hire the kid. Really only because you knew the kid was busting his ass at low wages. He'd appreciate the job and money, while it was a pay cut for the mill worker.

My buddies kid did well with Les Schwab tire and they relocated him to open up a new store.
