If the movie DEEP IMPACT really happened

From Wikipedia:

Deep Impact is a 1998 American science-fiction disaster film… depicts the attempts to prepare for and destroy a 7-mile (11 km) wide comet set to collide with Earth and cause a mass extinction.

Republicans/conservatives would say it was a hoax. And nothing would be done about it.

And we’d all end up as ashes. And so would everything else.
