Guess who is right behind Jim Jordan in this photo? A Trump enthusiast who attacked officers at the Capitol on Jan. 6.Samuel Lazar a Trump fanatic who is currently incarcerated and facing felony charges because he sprayed a line of police officers with mace at the Capitol on Jan. 6 standing behind Jim Jordan at a Stop the Steal rally.

orwell
(7,768 posts)...from TFG is like a subpoena.
They both mean there is some likelihood that a crime was committed.

(47,259 posts)I can't think of anyone who deserves a subpoena more than Jordan.

Jordan's a giant ass-wipe, but I think he's a little too clever to implicate himself.
The list above is occupied by actual NAZIs and blithering fucking IDIOTS who will convict themselves eventually.
PatSeg
(47,259 posts)It's just so hard to choose these days. So, so many. But Jordan is definitely on the list.

(5,409 posts)I just don't think he makes the top 5.
He DEFINETLY needs a subpoena, he just has to get in line first.

(83,638 posts)There are more reasons he was denied a committee seat than him being a jackass a puppet and a carnival barker.
Subpoena, delivery on the way.

(47,259 posts)I love the idea of seeing him being questioned for a change. He can be such a dick in hearings.
calimary
(81,098 posts)And CERTAINLY in this hearing if hes subpoenad. Wouldnt surprise me if he got up and walked out if the heat started getting to him.
He can dish it out but I bet he cant take even a few minutes of it.
PatSeg
(47,259 posts)Yes, I can picture him walking out or pretty much doing anything that he thinks plays well for the camera. Politics for him is all about performance. He pretends he is a maverick, but he is really just a very bad actor. The whole jacketless trademark is so pathetic - "I don't play by no stinkin' rules". Is that really the best he could come up with?

(36,420 posts)That pretty much sums up the lot of them. The cult, too. Petty, despicable (mostly) men, puffed up on themselves for no good reason. Kav being questioned at his confirmation vs Clinton at the Benghazi hearings is just a recent example.

and to think McCarthy thought he could name him for the Select Committee

(54,275 posts)It was probably the best way to protect Jordan from prosecution. Im sure Jordan thought so, too.

(2,501 posts)Part of being on the most punchable list includes the sound they'd make upon impact. My guess is that Cruz, Carlson, and Paul would make the most pathetic (and satisfying) whimpers in the bunch and that's why they'd be on my top 5.
If that's over the top, I'll apologize in advance.

Of course, he could plead the 5th, I guess. Also not a good look for someone as pure as the driven snow as Our Gym.

High time to stop them from getting away with crimes.
