for this 1/6 commission has something to hide or somebody to protect; would most probably be guilty of breaking some law(s); and is afraid to face the American People.
They should get that thought out their now - before they start issuing subpoena's so as to force these people into a box that will prevent them from ignoring the subpoena's and the work of this commission that is trying to get to the bottom of this insurrection and prevent future insurrections.

The committee votes, the resolution is privileged on the House floor so the House vote should happen quickly, the referral goes to the US Attorney for DC who must take it to a grand jury. Upon conviction it's a minimum 1 month in prison and $100 fine, maximum 12 months and $100K.
That 1 month minimum is the key to compliance, if the committee and House Dems show they are willing to follow through. Everyone will at least show up, even if they act like a horse's ass once they do.
