(74 posts)Police unions have negotiated confidentiality for complaints against LEO. Complaints Are removed ifrom an officers personnel file after a period of time or they are never included in the file.

And then to the people who voted unanimously to promote him to Sgt, probably without even spending 10 minutes reviewing the file of complaints against him. And then the commanding officers, who should all be demoted for overturning the rulings against Kue.
Now he's assigned to administrative duty, so the people of Detroit can pay a racist, abusive cop ~$80,000/year to push papers. And, if they finally decide to actually do something like terminate him over the objections of the union, they'll permit him to resign so he can keep his pension and get hired as a cop the next town over.

(28,769 posts)but the barrel is rotten. no wonder people hate the police when shit like this goes on and on. George Floyd would be alive today and how many others, if policing agencies tossed their bad apples. instead they promote them.
