Fox News personality Laura Ingraham appeared to mock police officers who testified before the House select committee investigating the January 6 Capitol riot on Tuesday.

She then showed part of Gonell's testimony where he was discussing the fact that rioters had weapons and mentioned a pen as he said that the rioters' intention was to hurt police officers.

My brain was "damaged" as a consequence of a subarachnoid aneurysm, right frontal lobe, in 2002. After a 9-hour surgery and 3 weeks in the ICU, and an additional 6 weeks off, I returned to work--a developer for one of the nation's leading companies in educational assessment. Although highly functional in work, the experience changed me in certain ways that I will not relate here.

I understand what you are saying. Ingraham is a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad person. However, it is a bit of a faux pas to categorically label her--effectively lumping her--in a way that casts aspersions on the many, many folks who have experienced actual brain damage.

No harm done. such cliche' is a common occurrence, and one I myself never considered on a deeper level prior to my own experience.
