I was in the Pfizer vaccine study and they asked me if I wanted to participate in the study for the booster shot. Im about 99% sure I didnt get the placebo, in fact this reaction has been worse than the other two. I started getting achy, tired and generally not feeling well Monday around 5pm and still feel achy and tired. And my arm hurts and is red at the injection site.
Hopefully it keeps me from getting a bad case of Covid.

Absolutely zero side effects other than a mildly sore arm near the injection site for a few hours

(43,057 posts)trial jabs. High double dose, 100 mcg mRNA-1273.351 administered through a 0.5 mL intramuscular injection in our deltoid muscles on days 1 and 29.
Nothing but a sore arm that lasted less than 18 hours on both jabs. We are several months in and our antibody titers, B cell, and both T cell counts are through the roof.

Neither the wife nor I had any. And she did not from her shingles shots which give more people bad effects than Covid jabs.

(44,967 posts)Your antibodies should now increase 5-10 fold, based on what Pfizer already released. You should be neutralizing delta covid left and right.

(2,868 posts)I heard something earlier today about Pfizer saying that booster shots given provided an 11% boost in effectiveness in "young people".
5-10 fold increase in antibodies.
WHITT
(2,868 posts)like going from say 83% to 94% effective against Delta.

(36,636 posts)Placebo or the actual shot?
The irony of antivaxers saying they dont want to be part of an experiment without realising they are now the control group.
