My MS newsfeed has become increasingly more RW the past weeks.

Fox News nonsense is now almost always top of the items, and now I'm getting bizarre op eds about how Sesame Street is no longer "safe" for children (a program on families evidently showed a married gay couple with their child).

Between Fox, the Washington Times, and bizarre outlets I've never heard of, my news feed seems to be tilting quite drastically into Trumple Town.

Has anyone else noticed this?

links as right wing propaganda. I think foreign powers are in full propaganda mode.

I have a very bad feeling about this.

I believe very few people actually watched the amazing 1/6 police testimony and people will believe what they are told.

I haven't noticed this, but then I have Fox News and others like it blocked on my feed.

It's bizarre though, and like the poster above stated it does smack of something more than coincidence or chance.

Not a single item of the January 6th committee hearing, but a couple of "articles" attacking Democrats. Someone not paying attention who gets their news from the MS feed would think President Biden is wildly unpopular.

I suspect we'll be seeing more of this as we get closer to the midterms.

Looks like to me that anyone with a blog can compete in the wild world of information dissemination. These guys need to get their stories in sync.

But seriously.......Modern political discourse in the US is perhaps the most glaring evidence available to support existence of the multiple, simultaneous universes (is that "universi"?) alluded to in quantum mechanics theory. Or the Tower of Babel saga, popular in so many ancient religious texts.

Where is the authority to yell, "QUIET!", like the frustrated teacher in the comedy routine by Firesign Theater(?)?. Important question for our times.

If so, definitely have noticed the same thing.

And before the inevitable chime in of “just change it if it bothers you so much…,” I’m not referring to myself here. MSN.com is the default for millions and millions of browsers. I shouldn’t need to explain why this is not a good thing.

As was pointed out up thread, this is how millions of Americans get their news. Those folks, unless they make an effort to tune in elsewhere, wouldn't even know there was such a thing as the January 6 hearing involving Capitol and Metro DC police.

Instead they'll be seeing multiple articles on what a failure Biden is, crisis at the border, calls for the head of the CDC to resign, etc.

Scary.
