And he scrubbed it from the Helsinki press conference transcript.
URI Friedman of The Atlantic:
Snip...
Understanding what Putin said depends on what you watch or where you look. If you watch the video of the news conference provided by the Russian government, or by news outlets such as PBS and the Associated Press, you will hear the Reuters reporter Jeff Mason ask a bombshell of a question: President Putin, did you want President Trump to win the election and did you direct any of your officials to help him do that?
Putin then responds with a bombshell of an answer, according to the English translation of his remarks that was broadcast during the press conference: Yes, I did. Yes, I did. Because he talked about bringing the U.S.-Russia relationship back to normal.
Trump was chosen because he would do what was best for Russia.

(9,994 posts)in the bottom one, reminds me of Hudson, a cat we had in the stray jail, who everyone adored. Hudson was a big, muscular tabby and white boy who came in with an enormous, ugly open wound on his face. According to the people who brought him in, he had just walked up to their dog out of nowhere and rubbed up against the dog as if to say, "Please help me!" He did not resist when the people scooped him up, put him in a box, and brought him in. He was the only cat I have ever known who didn't complain about an E-collar (the "cone of shame" . Any of us would probably have taken him home, he was such a sweetheart. He did test FeLV positive, which meant he would have had to be an "only child" though. Anyway, he was in a back kennel, which got afternoon sun, and every afternoon when the sun shone in the window, Hudson would stretch out on his back just like Hobbes and doze in the sunshine. I have a picture of him. I lost track of him after he got the sneezles and was moved to quarantine. I think he was eventually transferred to one of our larger partner shelters that does adopt out cats who are FeLV+....unless a staffer or volunteer adopted him. I'll have to ask.
