Trump threatened to primary GOP lawmakers who favor the bipartisan infrastructure plan

Former President Donald Trump left no words unspoken in his most direct attempt yet to tank President Joe Biden's $1 trillion infrastructure deal.

The GOP frontman threatened "lots of primaries" ahead for any Republican lawmakers who cooperate with Democrats to get the bipartisan deal passed.

His statement was released after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell announced he would vote to advance the measure ahead of the procedural vote in the Senate on Wednesday. Seventeen Republicans — including McConnell — joined all 50 Democrats to advance the bipartisan legislation, in a major test for the bill.

The vote came hours after a group of 10 Republican and Democratic negotiators announced they struck a deal with the White House for $550 billion in new spending — $30 billion less than a prior agreement.

And more importantly, I think it makes Trump running in 2024 a little less likely. The US is in good shape right now, he's not going to want to run if there's little to use against Biden and this infrastructure deal is a campaign commercial writing machine.

who vote against the bill with money from his PAC, I can see that as actionable.
He is trying to hurt his potential rival in 2024 and bribing people to do so.

Does anyone else remember - I'll never forget this day. The day of the election. I got off work at the VA and got into my car and immediately looked at DU (LOL) because I knew they would have the most up to date information. Imagine my dismay when I got a huge popup of 45 getting out of a limo and a message basically saying Eat it Suckers, that he was going to win. DU was hacked and down for gosh - was it days? weeks? it was horrible. And I knew in my gut that the Russians had infiltrated our election.

In the days/weeks before the election I also remember that we were on to something, they were tracking "dings" or correspondence between 45's TTower and overseas banks - we knew money, information was being passed, that there was something very very wrong going on. WE COULD SEE IT COMING! No matter what we did, they had a backup plan. Through their misinformation schemes through social media, they were able to plant the seed that Hillary was corrupt - DESPITE a complete and total lack of evidence! They tried to get her on their charity - that didn't work because there was NO fraud - however, when they looked at his? Well, it was fraud everywhere to the point where they are never allowed to sit on a board of a charity again.

EVERYTHING about 45 and ANYONE in his orbit is corrupt. There is NOTHING that does not stink about him and ANYONE who is in his orbit.

I'm sorry for the rant, but I have watched my country go insane and it just rips my guts out. I have 5 grandchildren who will inherit what may be left of our wonderful country through this hideous disgrace of leadership. To know that it is the "church"/evangelicals, the mega-rich, and the corrupt who are very nearly taking over the United States of America - it breaks my heart.

Every.Single.Democrat.MUST.VOTE. - every vote is more important than ever. The only way we are going to turn this around is not only a win, but a complete Tsunami to the point that there is nothing that they can do. We also need to play from their playbook - start to build our wins from small towns, to cities, to states. This is how they are creating the destruction - its not in Washington - its in the cities, townships, the governors, the state legislatures. They get it set up, and then send their messengers to Washington to carry out the plan.

We need local community organizers to get busy - like we did for Health Care when President Obama was in office. I was a part of that and it WORKED.

Again, sorry for the rant - its so hard to see this happening and to feel helpless to stop it.
