TIA, GOP!

I just want to thank the Republican party for continuing to provide the Democrats with an endless supply of ammunition with which to annihilate the GOP in 2022 and 2004.

The hours of video footage, the public statements made, the Tweets! It's like the anti-Republican ads are literally writing themselves!

Talk about the gift that keeps on giving - there will be way more to come as the COVID-vaccine deniers try to explain why only the unvaccinated are dying, and how the January 6th insurrection kinda-sorta never really happened.

And then there will be the reaction of the Republican PTB to the upcoming trials-and-tribulations of people like Rudy Giuliani, Allen Weisselberg - and whoever else the hammer of justice lands on in the coming months. That's going to be a goldmine of cannon fodder for the Dems to use with gleeful abandon.

Our cup truly runneth over - and yet you Republicans keep pouring your slop, seemingly unaware that a quick cut-and-paste of your own bullshit is the stuff that Democratic ad-makers dream of.

So thanks in advance, GOP! We Democrats will win big in 2022 and 2024 - and we'll have your own words and actions to thank for it.

They are not very smart, but they believe they have future elections already rigged.

I hope you are right. We shall see.

sinply because they plan to use their newly passed laws to overturn any results they don't like.

That's the game plan, I'm sure of it. No matter what the outcomes, in state after state the "legal authority" vested in Republican lawmakers will say, "Too much fraud! We win!"

At the very least there will be chaos as the news sinks in that Republicans now have the power to flip any red state election they want.

And what will be our response? A challenge in the courts? Reliance on the Supreme Court to do what's right?

I have a very bad feeling about this.

at the GOP machinations to destroy our democracy.

(Actually, no, they won’t. They will insist that each state has the power and authority to set up its own election procedures and, as Justice Alito has already declaimed, the mere “inconvenience” of having you wait in line for 8+ hours to vote and then, as per these new laws, having your vote disallowed because it was for a Democrat does not mean the statute violates the Constitution. )

I have that same very bad feeling but hope that history proves me wrong.

And they applaud their leadership, who knows better, for maintaining their ignorance. It is truly a case of the unjustly condemned applauding the firing squad.

We only won narrowly (Senate) even after he killed 400,000 people thru obvious sheer stupidity and ignorance.

All the Repugs in deep red areas are only looking to hold onto their nice Congressional jobs and perks. Their voters get absolutely nothing out of it yet keep voting for them anyway just to own the libs. Bizarre people.

But these deep red area Repugs care about one thing, its not being in the majority, its simply keeping their jobs. The good thing is that the things they do to keep their jobs will likely keep the Dems in the majority in the Senate and keep the Presidency too. They might be able to rig enough districts to eke out the House though.

Your overall analysis is spot on but the reaction needs to be matter of fact, concise and somber. Otherwise everything will get blurred by bothsidesism.

Independent voters in the middle will punish reQublicans severely for their inept handling of the
coronvirus and their "NOTHING TO SEE HERE" attitude about Jan 6th. We just need a proper
strategy how to point our fingers.

I get sick of hearing all the pessimism and shade thrown every time someone says absolutely anything positive or hopeful about upcoming elections or holding the GOP criminals accountable.

You have to wonder who benefits from all of it because it sure isn’t Democrats, the Democratic Party or the rule of law.

To prove they have a clue how to message the Buffett of video and audio ammo we get daily from these fools. Lincoln project does great, but I have no idea how widespread their messaging goes.
I too fear the corruption in voting, vote counting and denial of outcomes by GQP will wipe democracy off the map. Without fair elections, there is no chance, and they have no fear. We may be bound to have high school drop outs, “Q” fools Gohmerts, Clay’s, Jack-it-offs, in full control under direct orders from Pooty and billionaires from now on. It may take an insurrection of the 70 percent storming Fox studios to take our democracy back.
