The 17 Repub votes in favor, just made Sinema, Manchin & all other threats irrelevant.

Irrelevant to this particular Vote. 17 Repubs made her vote irrelevant to THIS Vote.

She never voted AGAINST any healthcare bills, so that line of complaint is moot.

How team Biden brought this home for a win is exactly Why JOE BIDEN is our President today.

(52,155 posts)2. they are still relevant even to this bill
since Speaker Pelosi, for good reason, has made it clear no reconciliation bill no bipartisan bill.

Unlike the people that voted for her.

While the number of people who have no health insurance is a problem, the reality is that MOST people do have it and are happy with it.

(53,997 posts)7. Arizona ranks 42nd of 50 states for insurance coverage (Mass is 1, TX is 50)
source: https://wallethub.com/edu/uninsured-rates-by-state/4800
Between 2010 and 2019 the rate of uninsured dropped less than 6%, much worse than most other low tiered states--meaning the problem is bad in Arizona and it's not getting better all that fast compared to other states with similar bad health care coverage for its citizens.
Sen. Sinema is fun and fashionable, but she's not doing much to "promote the general welfare" of the people who hired her. Yall 'Zonies got a problem.

(52,155 posts)13. Arizona didn't expand Medicaid
which, admittedly isn't her fault. But that means that if you have between 138% poverty and 150% poverty as a childless adult, no medicaid for you.

(15,325 posts)12. Yup. She sure does have some premium taxpayer purchased health care!!
Her constituents, not so much.
