Aside from what happened to them on January 6th. It would be really difficult to return to work knowing that half of the people you are charged with protecting do not give a rats ass about your life.

What a hug. I am so glad that one of the outcomes of yesterday's testimony was that these fine men who went to hell and back to save our democracy and our members of Congress and their staffs from violence and possible death got to connect with one another as they did.

I think Dunn and Fanone were from different LEOs so might not have had that opportunity before. Wasn't Fanone from the DC Metro Police and Dunn from the US Capitol Police? I hope that the bond endures and helps sustain them through the continuing hate each receives. Unbelievable the vitriol and evil out there.
