5. This is both good news and sad news.

Obviously the more people who are vaccinated, the better. So cheers to those people getting vaccinated any way they can.

However, it is a sad statement on our society when people have to hide their efforts to protect their lives and those around them. Not only that but these vaccinated people may prevent others from contracting the virus (which is great if that prevents transmission) but I fear it may cause those others to downplay the serious nature of the virus because they did not contract it due to others around them being vaccinated unbeknownst to them.

Regardless, these people should be applauded for finding a way to receive the vaccine.
