Schumer Has Votes to Move Ahead on $3.5 Trillion Bill

https://politicalwire.com/2021/07/29/schumer-has-votes-to-move-ahead-on-3-5-trillion-bill/#disqus_thread

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said that all 50 Democrats will vote to move forward on the party’s $3.5 trillion social spending proposal, Politico reports.

Said Schumer: “I’m proud of my Democratic caucus, every one of them voting yesterday for this bill and all pledging to go forward on the second track as well.”

Congrats to Chuck Schumer, he even got Sinema on board.

On Ali Velshi. He was thrilled the Senate had voted to proceed. He also said People need to work together. He said nothing about being against anything. He wants to see them succeed.

Actually, both Sinema and Manchin, who are relentlessly bashed, have yet to vote or block any votes on these two large bills either.

No need to rankle Reps, let's pass the infrastructure deal first. Then this spending bill truly is the most transformational piece of legislation in the country since the New Deal. I'd rather it be hush hush and pass before a lot of hoopla is generated, because it's truly amazing for the country.

That type of grandstanding does absolutely NOTHING to benefit the citizens... it's always a political stunt for ego, vanity and FUNDRAISING purposes. I despise politicians who play those games and who think only of themselves.
