7. His executive order will be stayed

by the first court that hears the case that will be filed by Monday. He doesn't have the authority to simply issue an EO to override the power of local school boards here just as he couldn't issue an EO that says kids don't have to go to detention or follow the dress code. That's why he was claiming he'd call a special session to pass a law to somehow(in his mind) take away power from local school boards and the State Health Department to pass mask mandates. They have completely invented this State "power" over masks.

As someone else posted, Covid-19 is the political end for him and other GOP politicians. They can stand there and flail at the wind all they want but a catastrophe is coming and they will be held 100% responsible. Its not going away; its going to get worse if kids don't mask up; and there will be nobody to blame but these idiots.
