But what led me to this was thinking today "the end of July" was Me-me-me's last day, for which I rearranged my activities to witness and celebrate. So it was a big let-down that the whole hour went by without even any mention of her leaving. Turns out that the happy day will be August 6.

But back to the "worse" thing, the rumored replacements: The Megyn KELLY is said to be ruled out because of her fat check elsewhere (not to mention the golden parachute she got from NBC), and (my take) that she is too Big to be in an ensemble. Any of the ones mentioned are the makings of potential bloodbaths - really, ABC, ratings cash are that important, duh!1
