Came from the hospital where she had just got an X-ray. She said the X-ray tech had gone on and on about how dangerous the vaccine is and how no one should get it.
Girl friend called the state headquarters for the health system and reported it. Hope they fire her.

10. Unrelated to your story, but ...

I have an (otherwise) intelligent, educated friend who is going around telling everyone, "Well we don't know what's in that vaccine, so we should wait, or maybe not get it at all."

So this friend of mine is a chiropractor (not an M.D. but still licensed) and it turns out the entire profession of chiropractors is anti-vax. I didn't even realize this until I read it in Wikipedia. Of course there are individuals with different opinions, just as in everything else. But chiropractors in general are anti-vax and it's not just the Covid vaccine, it's all of them.

These are people with medical education and training, and they call themselves "Doctors." No medical degree, however. Go figure!

Letting something like this slide does NO ONE any favors, and a person in that kind of position can do a TON of damage!

I wish all health care providers and facilities would get on the ball and start requiring all staff to vaccinate. Until they do, they need to AT LEAST control what staff are saying to patients.

I think the spreading of outright garbage like this should be a fireable offense.

i don't know what i would do in this situation. I feel as if I would have spoken up to her and asked for a different tech because she is clearly too stupid to be taking an x-ray of my body. But I have not run into this situation thankfully, because I have had a lot of interactions with health care people since May.

26. Like I said my GF is a Registered Nurse and she

is upset with what her friend told her. She tried to report it to the McLaren HR on Friday and had to talk to a recording. Most likely everyone went home early on a Friday. She is on a FaceBook page about wearing mask in our zip code and others responded to similar things at that health care center. I've never like them and went to a different health group for all of my medical needs.
They are going to pursue it Monday.
There was no reason for her to even bring up the subject and that's what upset her.
