this virus has given us many unexpected surprises so it could still be bad. But Fauci and other reputable folks have said vaccinated people might have our lungs and heart spared while the unvaccinated get more damage to those vital organs.

4. My niece tested positive this week.

She has been vaccinated. She had what she thought was a cold. She has a nanny for her kids this summer, and her nanny (high school girl) tested positive. She was also vaccinated. My niece's children are too young to be vaccinated, so she is worried they will get sick.; so she is quarantining herself. My sister had COVID in April 2020 and was very sick. They are all residents of Washington State.

Some got infected early on before there were vaccines.
There were some that could have gotten vaccine but didn't, and then they got infected.
But with delta, even vaccinated can get infected.

These kids starting in a few days will begin to be packed back into schools where governors have forbid masking in some states. Almost inevitable that we will have a huge outbreak among those under 12 this fall with lots of death.

If people have a legitimate reason for not being vaccinated, that's one thing and I hope they don't contract the virus. But if someone doesn't have a real reason (and there aren't that many who do), then I can't have sympathy for them. They made foolish choices and they will pay the price for that, along with the rest of us.

For kids especially, I hope the vaccine will be available very soon.

A hoax is a hoax. If you didn't catch the initial Covid, which was a hoax no matter how infectious, you're not going to catch the "Delta" variant. They're both hoaxes, so just keep talking your mind liberal control.

See how that works? No scientific word speak is going to break through to someone that has and is being told by "their" talking heads, something else, that Covid is anything other than a hoax.
