(31,112 posts)I just saw this on Twitter and her supporters complaining about the age of the video.
But didnt she recently say that about our fine Prez/VP? If so, what in GODS FUCKING NAME is anyone who uses the word "progressive" in their identity doing supporting her? They learned NOTHING from what happens when you BASH Democrats?
Please, if there are any of her supporters here please tell me why it is OK for her to say that?

Even Bernie didnt call him that or for that matter similar about Hillary. He did unfortunately not pushback much when others did.
OTHER than Trump can you name a single American politician in the past 50 years who said that or similar about a candidate in their own party? WHEN WILL people wake up...

The second time (when she said you have a choice of TWO bowls of shit) was late August, right around the time of the Convention.
Regardless of when it was, it was totally uncalled for.

This is who she really is beyond the ranting & dancing across the campaign stage.
Dark Money, Foreign enemy supported & eagerly accepted.
Who's she degrading all our Democrats for again?
MERCURY GLOBAL?
*******
The most stricking info to come out about her, is her campaign sponsorship & lobbying gig with RU owned (Kirill Goncharenko) Mercury Global Affairs Corporation.
Kirill G was named in Mueller's report as a RU foreign agent, btw.
THIS is one of the biggest Red Flags, & one that we all should be asking, what she's really doing in that small District of OH-11 anyway?
Knowing all this, Why would anyone put their name on an endorsement for Ms Turner?

(15,325 posts)Paid the beginning sum of $30,000 to get the campaign ball rolling.
Lets see where this data possibly intercects:
1.Nina starts up Amare PR Affairs with RU's Mercury/ Kirill Gorenchenko/Manafort
2. Tad Devine hired in 3/2021
3. Funds flow in to Nina, Tulsi, AOC, & JDems from Trump/Putin's big Rhorbacher donor, Charles Dunlop..$500,000 +
4. And the media smear campaign against Shontel Brown goes full force the week before the election, accusing her of what Turner herself is guilty of, dropped to media by Nina's own Red Rose warrior Walter Bragman, & the Intercept
That smear being, "Taking illegal, corporate foreign $$$".
****
Now, Let's see if all the reciepts we have proof of, match up with the timeline:
Why Yes, Yes they sure do!!
Well what the heck.
HELLO, can SOMEBODY ask Turner about this curious timeline?
Thanks a bunch!!

Kirill Goncharenko: Goncharenko is president and a founding partner at Mercury. From 1994 to 1998, he has worked as a managing director for the public relations firm, Burson-Marsteller. Goncharenko served as an aide to former Sen. Alphonse M. D'Amato (R-N.Y.). He has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors with regard to communications and strategy.
Kieran Mahoney: Mahoney is a founding partner and current CEO of Mercury. He has served as a senior adviser to former Gov. George Pataki's gubernatorial campaigns in 1994, 1998 and 2002, including serving as the top strategist and manager of Pataki's 1994 campaign. In 2002, Mahoney was media consultant for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, working on independent expenditure campaigns for John Sununu (R) in New Hampshire, Norm Coleman (R) in Minnesota and Lamar Alexander (R) in Tennessee.
Brian Jones (former): In 2003, Jones began working at Mercury as the vice president of polling and advertising, but left in 2004. However, Jones returned 2008 and stayed until 2011, when he became a partner with Black Rock Group. He has worked on George W. Bush's 2004 presidential campaign as the senior communications advisor. He has also worked as a communications director for the Republican National Committee and as the communications director for John McCain's 2008 presidential bid. Jones is the senior communications consultant for Chris Christie's 2016 presidential campaign.
Mike DuHaime: DuHaime joined Mercury in 2010 as a partner. He has worked on George W. Bush's 2004 presidential campaign as a regional political director. He also worked as a political director for the Republican National Committee (RNC) and campaign manager for Rudy Giuliani's 2008 presidential bid. In 2014, DuHaime served as the senior advisor to the Republican Governors Association (RGA) and oversaw national gubernatorial campaigns. DuHaime is the senior strategist for Chris Christie's 2016 presidential campaign.
Rick Wiley (former): Wiley joined Mercury in March 2013 as a managing director in their Washington, D.C. office, but left in July 2015. He worked two presidential campaigns, George W. Bush's 2004 presidential re-election and Rudy Giuliani's 2008 presidential bid. He also worked as the executive director of the Wisconsin Republican Party and political director of the Republican National Committee (RNC). He was the campaign manager of Scott Walker's 2016 presidential campaign.

(15,325 posts)And THIS is who supports Turner's AMARE PR.
And who she is a paid lobbyist for, ($300 000 a yr, btw) Yup, Mercury!
How the heck did she end up so embedded with such a hard Right group like that.
I mean c'mom. Look at those names!
Foreign, multinational, Corporate, Global, & corrupt lobbyists.
Not seeing the "grassroots" part here, nor the Environmental angle either.
Yikes!
Thanks for the info Georgell.
I am now even more aware of the serious foreign influence, the deeper we dive into the who, what & when of Turner's involvement.
Wow.
America deserves to have this exposed & the truth laid bare for all to see.
This makes me sick.

(25,531 posts)four years ago; Oh, that was three years ago; Oh, that was two years ago; Oh, that was a year ago.
Yet in the last two presidential elections what Democrats did decades ago, back to the sixties and seventies even, their political activities in school, was of vital importance. The '90s were like yesterday. They could be blamed for all the ills of America, pretty much!

(29,322 posts)You can tell who is pushing Russian propaganda on the left which is why I used FTV (this was going on at the same time as Stop the Steal) as an example.
Nina Turner isnt good enough for those people but Russia is more interested in dividing Americans and causing chaos rather than supporting anyone really.
I support Joe Biden as President and I moved on from the 2016 & 2020 primaries. I dont hold grudges.

(67,782 posts)....if you watch Nina Turner's comments and follow her campaign, she hasn't.
In fact she still holds a grudge against President Clinton from the 1990s when he mentioned the names of several Democrats at an Ohio dinner but didn't mentioned her.
AZProgressive
(29,322 posts)Before she switched to Bernie? IIRC it was her husband that talked her into it or encouraged her but Nina has been an Ohio State Senator prior to both primaries.
I see more anti Nina threads than pro Shontel Brown threads but the race is more straightforward than the 2016 primary. The Pro Clinton side favors Brown while the pro Sanders wing favors Turner but if one doesnt like one or the other it is likely policy reasons or grudges from the primaries.
George II
(67,782 posts)1. Clinton has nothing to do with this in 2021
2. This isn't the 2016 primary
3. "Pro Clinton" has nothing to do with this
4. Tuesday is a Democratic primary between 12 (or 13?) candidates
5. Turner hasn't been an Ohio State Senator for more than 7 years, and she was initially appointed
6. Turner hasn't defeated anyone in an election since 2006
7. Turner refused to support Hillary Clinton in her campaign against donald trump
8. Turner refused to support Joe Biden in his campaign against donald trump
9. Turner co-founded the People's Party and it was her intention to run as their candidate but they didn't qualify to be on the ballot
Finally:
10. Turner had the chutzpah to consider a primary challenge to Marcia Fudge in 2012
W_HAMILTON
(7,867 posts)...it's not surprising at all to see her on Russian state media propagating lies that would end up costing Hillary the nomination and ushering in the historical disaster that Trump was.
