That's why his father ran, and why son has picked up the torch. It's important to get a Mormon in the White House. That would make Mormons more mainstream and acceptable.

And I would add that he thinks he deserves to be president. He's been stroked all his life - he was a kahuna in the LDS church, which is completely patriarchal and hierarchical - what a bishop says is the word of God, after all; Mormons don't ever dare disagree with their (always male) clergy. And Mormon males get to be "clergy" when they are just teenagers. With the help of his car executive governor dad, he went to the best schools and eventually landed a job as a private equity parasite. As CEO, nobody ever dared disagree with him; he liked being able to fire people. He got richer and richer, never really had to answer to anybody. You can see how outraged he gets when anybody challenges him.

Then there is the White Horse Prophecy: the legend in the LDS church that someday a Mormon will "save" the Constitution and Mormonism will become the state church. Some say Mittens is the "messiah" who will take over the United States for his church. If Mittens believes this, that's really scary.

In any event, I really believe he thinks he's entitled to be president because he's always been totally awesome.

Because his father was not prez. Because of his ego. Because he thinks he is doing the nation a favor by being willing to be prez.

He wants to RULE us minions, not govern. While the prez should be respected, ultimately the president is a public servant, he serves the people, something Obama actually recognizes, but Mitt does not. Mitt wants the power and the prestige but he wants to be king, rather than being subject to the people.

He thinks himself above us minions and does not believe any rules apply to him. Rules and taxes are only for minions. I am sure he and his rich friends laugh at the idea of even paying a walloping 14% in taxes and his friends know he only did that because he's running for prez.

He is such an ASSHOLE, how can anyone vote for this guy? Even other assholes have to be like, wow, I thought I was an asshole but then I saw Mitt.
