She became a Democrat to run in the Democratic primary, just like her benefactor Sanders has been doing in the Vermont Senatorial primaries. Did not support the Democratic candidate in 2016 and thus is personally responsible for the Trump and Trumpism that will control politics until he collapses during a heart attack. And, of course her Bowl of sh*t comment that she never took back.

Don’t be surprised if, once elected, she will change party.

I’m still not understanding why she said it. I felt pretty good about voting for Joe Biden, and so did a lot of other people. Nena was making an ideological purity argument which is in my view rather idealistic, ill timed and naive given what we were up against last November.
