He continues:
Emphasis mine

Gaetz just brought a spork to a gun fight. Not sure why Florida man thought it a good plan to take on on the most decisive minds in the political consultancy business... entertaining for the rest of us though!

(28,630 posts)Poor little Matt just doesn't have game to play in the bigs. Certainly not in the same league with Steve Schmidt. Poor widdle Matty will feel that burn for a week.

(9,372 posts)They do not think the way we do (It's arguable what they do is so different it shouldn't be called thinking, even.) Here's how they think:
Steve Schidt, as a former Republican strategist, is better positioned that we are to fight in a way that will get to him. But they are so far gone it may still not be enough. I expect it to roll off Gartz's back much like water.

(53,567 posts)Thanks for sharing, it is spot on. Most right-wingers are so predictable, yet so many rational people keep falling into their trap. Reminds me of an abusive relationship.

(9,372 posts)It's one of a series of eleven plus a few "end notes" which taken together form practically a textbook on what they do and how we might best be dealing with it. The name of his channel is "Innuendo Studios."
He has many other vids up also, but you won't have any trouble finding the eleven because they are the only ones with cartoon titles. And the "end notes" say they are end notes and are within the same fairly limited range.

(4,114 posts)2024 when we all know he will be in some place where he cannot run, or what Lawrence O'Donnell did the other day "wondering what the buffoon would say or do about infrastructure negotiations" when he is not even in office, he is just out there spewing stupidity and the media playing along with it...beyond disgusting!
But for the buffoon to hear that kind of talk would rattle his feathers 24/7.

(53,567 posts)are afraid to tell him anything that he might not want to hear. He reminds me of the abusive father, "Don't say anything that will make Daddy mad or we'll all suffer." People tiptoe around him and try to present everything in a positive and flattering light, which just encourages his bizarre delusions. His court is comprised of people who only tell him what he wants to hear, confirming what he already believes. He is a classic tyrant.

(24,906 posts)He has no power, he has no money, there is nothing he can or will do for or to me. If you are loyal to him he does not return that loyalty, he is a pathological liar, he has the mind of a five year old child. And not a very bright one at that. He is a loser and has failed miserably at everything he has ever tried to do. If I was in the same room with him I would tell him exactly what a steaming pile of pigshit he is. Why does no one do that?
When I read about his many temper tantrums, it is hard to imagine grown, educated people cowering in his presence and catering to his whims. Apparently the tantrums are full-blown and overwhelming. I can see it terrifying a child or an abused spouse trapped in the home, but in the Oval Office with government employees and members of congress?
As I read about them, I am saying in my mind, "Just walk out already. You don't have to take that kind of abuse", but they stay and try to appease him. It is beyond comprehension. Reminds me of tyrannical, unhinged monarchs in history, but they had the power of life and death. Trump could only yell or mean-tweet people.

one, absolutely no one, so why does he inspire such slavish devotion in others? If everyone who cowers in fear of just him banded together and told him to fuck off, what could he do except throw more tantrums?
In pediatrics, we typically advise parents not to give in to the temper tantrums of toddlers because all that does is get you more temper tantrums.
Way past time to do the same with Donny.

I believe that those in deep with Trump know what lurks out there. Maybe their fears are well founded.
As others posted, Trump is a powerless nobody. He truly is nothing. However, we've seen evidence that he knows how to trigger the rabble from the wrong side of the tracks.

These kinds of descriptors fosters fantasy... what we all long to see in reality..
The reality is however, that Gaetz and so many other political criminals continue to be free to crime even more.
No Consequence. No Justice.
Democracy cannot sustain within a system where there are no consequences for political criminals.
That is an obvious point, which does concern us, but apparently the only people in power to do anything about it, isn't concerned or are their enablers.
