(26,022 posts)Rivera was a passenger on that flight. They might have got that wrong.
It also says that the difficult passenger was arrested when the flight reached Miami. The flight attendants were, as required by regulations, removed from flight duty while the incident is being investigated.

"When I flew for American Airlines, this behavior wasn't tolerated. Even if you whispered a threat or joked about a bomb or potential harm to the flight, it's crew or passengers, let alone acted out, you were immediately dealt with and ushered off the plane at the point of destination by federal agents. Just a joke could land a passenger in a locked bathroom until the plane landed. The lack of civility on today's flights is astounding to me. Being a flight attendant is grueling work and they deserve better than this. It's time that federal marshals board every flight and not just random flights so that the flight crew can do their jobs and not be held responsible for whatever action they take in order to subdue an aggressive and belligerent passenger."

(151,269 posts)No excuses. No ranting. Sit down, shut up, and do what the flight attendants tell you to do. Period.

(151 posts)Maybe the next advance in boarding a flight should be blowing into a breathalyzer until the door opens at the gate. One at a time please.

(11,857 posts)Only a suggestion here, perhaps change the title to from "flight attendant" to "comedian parodies" or something similar.
Love the skit!!!
Didn't intend to misled. Best to make it clear in the title. Thanks for the suggestion, Niagara.

Therefore, when a cabin crew attendant tells you to mask the fuck up, you mask the fuck up.
Well done, well done.

(171,718 posts)they disrupt travel, ruin everyone's flight, and they're a pain in the ass - the airlines are sick of these people and so are the passengers - it really needs to be a felony

(12,533 posts)Best narration of the week. Or maybe year. Too funny.
But these crude, aggressive passengers are not funny. Anyone who behaves like this should be put on a no-fly list. Just like a terrorist.
That may change their tune. Or not. But at least they won't be endangering other passengers and staff.

(14,782 posts)Can also see duct taping procedures added to flight attendant and pilot training procedures.
Experienced HVAC guys will be in high demand as instructors for the airlines.
