According to the Marion School District, over 900 students are quarantining after at least 54 students and 11 staff tested positive in its first weeks of school.

MARION, Arkansas — Over 900 students are quarantined in the Marion School District and there are almost 70 positive COVID-19 cases among students and staff.

The district, which is in its second week of school, announced the outbreak earlier this week on social media.

Currently, 937 students are quarantined and 12 staff are quarantined in the school district.

Memphis schools just mandated masks for all daycare through 12th grade students, staff, parents, & visitors to all schools & daycares. Now they need to do same for colleges & universities!

Mask mandate should specify N-95 or KN-95 only. Show up in anything else & you will be standing outside while we call your parents to bring you a mask or evacuate you from the premesis.

13. SARS-CoV-2 is a BSL-3 level pathogen.

Especially it’s Delta variant.

To fully work with cultures of it, a laboratory must be at least BSL-3.

It is insane sending these children into classrooms.

Highest level is BSL-4.

That is reserved for pathogens like the Marburg virus and Ebola.

34. Do you have additional info on masking against Delta. Many

doctors/ epidemiologists recommended 4 layer surgical masks last summer. I use both surgical and KN-95, but want to know if i need to go exclusively with KN-95 for protection against Delta variant.

20. If I were still teaching

in Southern CA I would teach as much of my class outside as possible. I don't trust their ventilation system, it almost killed me 20 years ago with black mold. My class was mobile for months since the room was closed off. A lot of classes are held outside. You just need a portable chalkboard.
