The former data chief for Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign has announced a protest next month at the nation’s Capitol — to rail on behalf of so-called “political prisoners” charged in the Jan. 6 insurrection.

“We’re going back to the Capitol, right where it started. And it’s going to be huge,” Matt Braynard told former White House strategist Steve Bannon as he announced the rally on Bannon’s podcast last week. 

The protest, “Justice for J6,”  has been set for Sept. 18 at the Capitol. It’s being orchestrated by the group Look Ahead America, headed by Braynard.

And it also neglects to mention that the SCOTUS had basically only allowed it to continue through to when it did only because it was set to expire at that time.

The hope here is that it can remain in place until some final death knell to it absent CONGRESSIONAL action, not Executive action. It was something that should have been included in the last stimulus and is something that needs to be extended by legislation.

But there really needs to be a "#OccupyStateLegislatures" to distribute the funds already allocated.

The moratorium has already been challenged in court and one would hope it doesn't get an enforcement stay pending further court actions.

The issue is that some folks just don't know how bills become law and how they require both chambers. Pelosi knew exactly what the issue was and negotiations were ongoing and reached an impasse. And even if there was an agreement, it would never pass a cloture vote in the Senate.

need to pay their bills? I'm not sure when the free rent started, maybe a year ago, so a monthly
rent of say $700 would put these people in debt for $8400. Are some people in dire straights? Sure.
