Conservatives have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to run on except for fear of "other" and "the government is going to get you" even when it is they who use the government to spy on people and trample civil liberties and it is their economic policies that drive immigration both from the stand point of fucking up all of the countries south of us, and their "industry" supporters wanting to exploit cheap labor coming across the border.

Immigration is a complex issue but it needs to be addressed both, at the countries of origin, where we need to STOP destabilizing countries with our economic policies and stupid drug war, AND it needs to be addressed here by having a coherent strategy to punish employers who incentivize undocumented immigration for work, not simply punish desperate people who are looking for a better life.

My device is perfectly fine. Conservatives have been saying the same stupid shit since the Chinese Exclusion Act, since Operation Wetback, since Nativists wanted to kick all the Irish out of New York.

These creeps are claiming there's a border patrol conspiracy to 'seed' areas of the country with infected kids.

But Keilar is good, really good, at refuting the nonsense. Toward the end Keilar is mainly discussing a recent WaPo article that completely debunks the lies about migrants bringing in COVID.
