I am proud to be the Democratic nominee for this district, and my priority in the coming weeks and months will be laser-focused on listening and getting ready to serve Northeast Ohio in Washington.
I do fear that woman splitting the vote though, if she gets on the ballot as People's Party... that would be effed up, and exactly her intention. Vomiting just thinking about it.
Only hope is that the insane lunatic moron Mandel is the GOP nom - he's so stupid Ryan should win, not easily, but it would be close. But if a moderate GOP wins the nom... Ryan may be in trouble. We'll see. No way of knowing right now. I know OH looks ugly right now, but Sherrod Brown will keep his seat as long as he wants it. So there is hope.
On the other hand, Shontel Brown is locked in, no way she'll lose. We're too blue.

I was born in Cleveland and have never left. I live in a suburb now, but it's actually weird - about 2-3 blocks away from my house, there used to be a hospital in the city limits, and I was born there. So I'm almost right back where I started! Cleveland has been so bashed historically, I'm very sensitive. 
So when a friend of mine told me that her son and girlfriend were headed here for 3 days just for the heck of it - and loved it! - it made me smile! 
It ain't Maui, but I'm here to stay! (and boy did I love my 5 nights in Maui! )

, good chance it won't be good for Democrats, which means not good for the country.
On the other hand, Our Revolution recently rebranded itself as pragmatic progressives, won't use one version of Medicare for All or the list of aspirations, Green New Deal, as a litmus test for membership in the progressive club (everybody else has to be "establishment." ) I guess their plan to take over Congress will proceed pragmatically. Maybe she'll run for something as a pragmatic progressive. What about her People's Party? Maybe go back to being a lobbyist? She could write a book, "Nina Turner's People's Party Bowl Cookbook" (we already know the Biden Bowl recipe). I've heard that if you write a best-selling book, you can be a millionaire, too. Not as much money as in SuperPACs, though.
I strongly feel that activists who hate the Democratic Party because they think everyone's bribed by dark forces and the same as Republicans should stay out of politics and stick with the "activism."
