Opened my mind to the idea that species don't just adapt to change but to ongoing competition in an otherwise stable environment. That dynamic seems obvious once it's laid out but usually discussions about evolution are framed in the adaptation-to-change context because that is more dramatic and instructive. Note that Bounty sponsored the video and not Brawny, which is a Koch product.
