O'Connell's Pub, on Kingshighway, posted on Facebook a message saying anyone not vaccinated is not welcome to visit, even outdoor dining. They added all of their staff is fully vaccinated and wear masks.
"For those who feel that they do not want to get vaccinated despite advice from their medical doctor, it is your right to do so and we acknowledge that. We ask that you do not come to the pub if you have not been vaccinated," the post read. "We don't want you to come and sit outside and then send a server to go out and wait on the people who are not vaccinated. No way. Just don't come to the pub, ever. It's not safe for you to come now or at any point in the future. Even when 80% of the population is vaccinated it won't be safe. Not inside, not outside, not on the patio, nowhere. If you aren't vaccinated or don't plan to be vaccinated, don't come. Ever."
The post added that kids under 12 who are not vaccinated are still welcome.

(26,145 posts)going by this place, the road was finally done and the restaurant survived in fine fashion. This is a good place to stop by too, if one is on the way to the Zoo, to the Missouri Botanical Gardens, or anywhere in the Hill area (area of Italian restaurants etc.)...
As you can see, people in St. Louis are getting sick and tired of folks coming in from out state Missouri, from the surrounding counties, or elsewhere, continuing to spread COVID whereas the city of STLMO took massive steps to fight COVID by shutting down everything for quite some time, wearing masks, and undergoing massive vaccination efforts.
I'm glad to see this. I just hope that they can successfully pull it off, being that how are they going to determine who is vaccinated vs. those that are not?

(40,739 posts)Seriously, the prospective employers need to post this: "If you aren't vaccinated, don't bother applying for work here."

I agree 100%.
You don't want the free, life-saving, readily-available vaccine to the scourge of the 21st century?
Fine. Go somewhere else, because the rest of the sane people want to resume a new normal life - even that ultimately means dealing with seasonal mask times or booster shots.
I have had enough of the Luddite crowd at this point. By all means, form colonies on the prairies - cloister yourselves into tighter and tighter groups, inbreed to your hearts content, take no vaccines, and let evolution run its course...Western Civilization does not need you, will not miss you and honestly should no longer care for you.
Make Vaccination status a key to living in polite society and treat the anti-vaxxers like the fools and public masturbaters that they are...

(71,876 posts)They put it into the time-honored context of 'no-shirt-no-shoes-no-service'. "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Mask, No Service" is what the sign read.
Mrs. Aristus and I masked up and got our stuff. Hanging out on the sidewalk afterward, eating our ice cream, we had the opportunity to see a number of people try to enter. Many of them saw the sign, grumbled, then went back to their cars to get their masks. Others turned red, spun around and said "Come on. Let's go somewhere else!..."
Lot of assholes in the world...

(9,304 posts)that if, after this warning, they attempt to come, they will be trepassing, and will be treated as trespassers.
A business open to the public is still private property, and is entitled to make reasonale rules for suatomersl Those breakig those rules have become trespassers automatically.
Most people do understand that trespassing is a crime and/or a tort.
