(6,129 posts)Jen Psaki is making the lives of their video editors a living hell. You wouldn't believe the amount of cutting, splicing, and editing they have to do to keep Peter Doocy from looking like the complete clown that he is.
They can NEVER just show his question and her answer. They have to heavily edit both his question, and Psaki's answer. They'll literally splice together just FRAGMENTS of Psaki's answer to try to fit their narrative. Sometimes they won't even show the answer, and instead have the anchor or Doocy 'paraphrase' it.
It always makes my day when I see their butchered presentation of Doocy's mess on Fox, and then come HERE to see what REALLY happened, and how badly they had to edit it to prevent this trust-fund frat boy from looking like a complete clown. Peter and Steve Doocy are living proof that nepotism is bad. But I'm glad Fox News is practicing what they preach. For the last five years they've been pushing Economic Royalism, where half-wits like Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump are make senior officials in the federal govt because their daddy is Preznit. Why shouldn't Fox News put their support for that idea into practice, by appointing Steve Doocy's dingleberry son to be the senior White House correspondent on his first day out of college? And this is what they get for it. I love it!

(8,178 posts)Thank you! And oh yea, thank you for your sacrifice...
but I gotta ask: Are you a glutton for punishment? Or do you just have an appetite for watching the cult of the stupid, the corrupt and the purveyors of lies practicing their trade '"craft".. (I'm using that term way too loosely)

I don't have a blood pressure problem, but I'm pretty sure if I tried to do that, I would have a blood pressure problem - because my blood pressure would probably blow right through the top of my head and up through the ceiling and straight through our roof.

(6,129 posts)...the three pots of coffee I drink every day. But maybe there's more to it!
I'll tell you what, though. Even I can't watch Hannity, Ingraham, or Carleson. I just watch the so called "straight news." Mainly to see how badly they have to scramble to make Biden and the Democrats look bad.
I mentioned here once before that you can always tell when Biden gave an AWESOME speech, because Fox has to completely ignore it. If Biden's speech is particularly good (like the one on electric vehicles), you'll see all the other news networks covering it live (and why not? He timed it for the 12 noon news broadcasts)..while Fox News is the only one not covering it live. They're still blathering about transgender bathrooms, and the 'Democrat bloodbath' in Chicago, and armies of central American invaders carrying the bubonic plague on the border... What a joke.

That's clearly not the case. Democrats, and people in "blue" states overwhelmingly are more vaccinated than Republicans / Trump supporters.
