I live in Sullivan county NY for the last 60 days our vaccination rate went from 51.2 to 52 percent our county covid rates have put us at high risk rating in NY. Thanks to the dumb ass 48 percent not vaxxed. County is 53 percent republican my town is 68 percent. Back to mask mandates I hate these idiots.

i basically shut my business down last year and the zombies are doing their best to screw it up again.

I've been watching the numbers myself for the Triangle area of NC--Wake, Durham, and Orange Counties--and the large difference between one dose and fully vaxxed suggests to me that perhaps finally more people are going to get vaxxed. It will be interesting to see in a couple of weeks whether the disparity between the one dose and fully vaxxed numbers here has lessened.

And in my area mask wearing has really picked up. Granted South Lake is diverse and a bedroom community of Orlando, but I was not expecting the community to react so well.

And did you notice the rural, red counties in North Florida? Liberty, Bay, Gulf and others! Over 1% of the population has it now or have tested positive in the past 2 weeks. Those counties don’t have much in the way of hospitals. And super low vaccination rates.

My neighbors went through hell getting vaccine appointments. But they were determined. I wasn’t eligible until April. By then most of my neighbors were done.

It’s a shame that those northern areas didn’t heed the warnings.

The county directly west is 45%. The one directly to the south is 36.6%.
But, those 2 counties combined have half the people as our company.
So, the 25 mile or so circle around us would be around 49%.
Stupidly low.

But based on that site, I was looking at what they had for the PA data and as much as we always laughed about the "Pennsylvania 'T'", it looks like we now have a "Pennsylvania 'S'" (formed from counties with the lowest vax rates in the state).

For the state as a whole 65.7% are fully vaccinated. It's the rural and Republican parts of the state that aren't getting vaccinated, especially the counties near Texas.

I reside in the far north east corner of Humboldt county where the Hupa Reservation, Yurok Reservation, and Ancestral Territory of the Karuk are located and a population majority is NA. I am not NA and lived elsewhere much of life and my family has been here since 1850s. The Indian Health Service made it very easy to get vaccinated, I received 2nd shot of Moderna in early March.

However, only 36.96% of Humboldt county Native Americans are fully and 5.04% partially vaccinated. Almost certain that the rates are lower here than for the NA that live on the coast. Lots of distrust.
