This _exact_ issue, and the folks there seem to have a genuine desire to fix it.

after Atlanta got too crowded. My friend had part of her lung removed but she was a nurse so she knew to get vaxxed as soon as she could as well as her husband. He loves it in The Villages since he is the only one in his age group to participate in senior athletic games and challenges. He wins every time at 87. I am still worried about them though.

Many people from my former Federal agency move there after retirement. Frankly, with retired Republicans zipping around in golf carts, hating on immigrants and POC, and the general attitude of "I got mine, screw you," it's my idea of hell on Earth. And, it's not even close enough to the beach to make it attractive.
