But of course , its none of our business.

The girl is now a sex slave.

As i've been saying..If the US stands for something, now is the moment.

Flame away...I'm almost getting used to it.

are sometimes tricked into going to Pakistan for a regular visit but ended up being forced to marry someone.

Hindu girls are kidnapped and forced to convert and marry Muslim men.

Christian girls are sold to Chinese men looking for brides.

The problem is the culture.

How do you change that ?

How many troops do you want to return to Afghanistan?
How much longer should the stay?
Don't you think this will happen whenever we leave?

The taliban are monsters.

I hope we are better than leaving these women to become sex slaves.

What the hell do we stand for if not against this atrocity.

It's not that you are wrong to be. But outside of hundreds of thousands of troops, and permanent occupation, I don't think we can fix this.
And unfortunately, they will now breed terrorists who will probably attack us.
This was screwed up from the beginning under Bush.

It is the culture and the people there.

We are talking over a billion people. What exactly should we do? Kill them all? Arrest them?

What you describe is not government sanctioned although they do turn a blind eye to it. It is terrible but it happens in relatively isolated areas and in relatively small numbers.

The Taliban is terrorizing the ENTIRE FEMALE POPULATION of Afghanistan. And their goal is for their beliefs to spread throughout the region ... and well beyond.

This is not cultural, this is state sanctioned terrorism.

Trained and armed women would have been a better choice than training and arming the men. I believe they would have fought the Taliban harder, not sold out so quickly. They would have been fighting for their children and their own lives. The Afghan men , not so much.

Why isn't there that same outrage.

I have seen more anger and hatred at France over a hijab ban .
